Editorial policy

Scope

The research library describes what has been published about a compound in the scientific literature. It is reference material for people working in a laboratory. It is not medical information, it is not advice, and it is not a description of what any material does in a person.

Library pages carry no prices and no way to buy anything. That separation is deliberate and is enforced in the build rather than left to editorial discipline: a page that summarises a clinical trial and a page that takes an order are different kinds of document, and mixing them turns a literature summary into an advertisement.

Sourcing

• Sources are restricted to peer-reviewed literature indexed in PubMed, DOI-registered publications resolvable through Crossref, trial records on ClinicalTrials.gov, and substance registers such as the FDA/NCATS Global Substance Registration System.
• Every citation on every page is machine-verified at build time. A page cannot be published if a PubMed ID, a DOI or a trial registration fails to resolve, or if the stored title does not match the title the register returns.
• Identifiers that cannot be verified against a register are published as unknown rather than estimated. A blank field is a work item; an invented one is a defect.
• Research findings are labelled by evidence tier — human clinical, animal, or in vitro — and a finding is never restated at a tier above the one it was observed at.
• Library pages describe published research. They do not describe what a material does in a person, and they carry no usage, preparation or administration guidance of any kind.

Citation verification

Every PubMed ID on this site is resolved through the NCBI E-utilities service, every DOI through Crossref, and every trial registration through the ClinicalTrials.gov API, each time the site is built. The title the register returns is compared with the title stored in our content, and a page that contains a reference which does not resolve — or which resolves to a different paper — is not published at all. A transposed digit in an identifier is invisible on the page and fatal to the record; this is the only way to catch one reliably.

Evidence tiers

Every research section is labelled with the kind of study it describes: Human clinical research, Animal research, or In vitro research. The label is structural — it is an attribute on the section, checked by an automated linter, not a formatting choice. A finding observed in cells or in animals is never restated as if it had been observed in people, and every section describing human trial results carries a standing statement that those trials studied pharmaceutical-grade investigational material in defined populations and say nothing about research-grade material supplied for laboratory use.

What is never published

• Usage guidance of any kind, including how a material would be administered or prepared for use.
• Any statement that a material sold here produces an effect in a person or an animal.
• Claims sourced to a vendor listing, a forum, a social post, or a press release without a peer-reviewed or registry source behind them.
• Testimonials, reviews, before-and-after material, or user experiences of any kind.
• An identifier that could not be verified against a public register. The field is left blank instead.

Authorship and independence

Library content is written and maintained by the Elegance Peptides Editorial Team. No author or contributor is compensated on the basis of how any compound sells, and no commercial arrangement of any kind determines which compounds are covered or what a page says about the evidence for one.

Corrections

Corrections and source challenges are welcome through the contact page. A page is amended and its updated date changed whenever a source is shown to have been read wrongly. Corrections can be sent through the contact page. When a page changes substantively its updated date changes with it, and the date shown on the page is the date of the last substantive change rather than of the last build.

Review status

Every library entry and article carries a review status. The site is built so that anything not marked approved is excluded from search indexing and from the sitemap and carries a visible draft marker. The owner has elected to publish the library indexable from launch; the gate remains in the build and can be re-imposed without a code change.
